This architecture note documents how EmerSoftware thinks about a reproducible control plane for enterprise AI agents. It is owned technical evidence — not a customer case study. Where numbers appear, they are illustrative factory-scenario metrics, not named-client KPIs.

Control-plane components

  1. Identity broker — workload identities per agent role
  2. Tool catalog — versioned adapters with read/write split
  3. Policy engine — allowlists, rate limits, data classes
  4. Evaluation harness — golden tasks + online sampling
  5. HITL queue — approval artifacts with retention
  6. Audit store — immutable event log with correlation IDs

Control plane

  1. 01IntakeSpecBundle
  2. 02Policyallowlist
  3. 03Runtimeroles
  4. 04Evidenceaudit + eval
The model never bypasses policy or audit.

Integration test stance

Contract tests against SAP/Salesforce/Oracle adapters run in CI with recorded fixtures. Write paths are dual-run: agent proposes, human or policy approves, adapter executes with idempotency. Failures open a ticket with the correlation ID — not a silent retry storm.

EmerAgents implements this control plane as EmerSoftware’s orchestration product. The note exists so buyers and engineers can evaluate the pattern independently of brand claims.
